Cid's solar is situated in a lush green field overrun by wildflowers. A couple of apple trees bloom beside a footpath that leads to a circular doorway set into the side of a hill. (Yes, it does look like a hobbit hole.) Sometimes a massive direwolf can be found napping or hunting rabbits in the grass outside.

The door will refuse to open unless Cid is nearby. If Cid is within, it will automatically roll to the side to allow entry to anyone who happens to get close to it.

A heavy wooden writing desk is visible from the doorway, and to the left of that is a green couch and a few small stools.

Slightly beyond the sitting area is another door that leads off to Cid's workshop, but that door remains locked at all times.

Toward the very back of the room, there's a set of wooden stairs built atop the stone ruins that lead to a small bed and a few crates for a nightstand.

Up another short set of stairs is a smaller bedroom, clearly intended for a child.
