This curious sylph followed Cid back from Himeka's horizon. It can sometimes be seen floating around and smoking cigars made of... ?

Torgal can often be found napping or hunting rabbits in the grass. This massive dire wolf comes and goes as he pleases, keeping an eye on his human friends.

Cid's solar is situated in a lush green field overrun by wildflowers. Apple trees bloom beside a footpath that leads to a circular doorway set into the side of a hill. The door will not open unless Cid is nearby.

Toward the very back of the room, a set of wooden stairs is built atop the ruins. It leads to a small bed and a few crates for a night stand. All of the furniture in the solar is well-worn, though the architecture of the room itself seems more suited to an alien ruin...

A heavy wooden writing desk is immediately visible from the doorway — the feeling is not unlike walking into someone's office. A green couch and a few small stools can be found just left; a more cozy setting for receiving visitors.

On Cid's desk, a pair of daggers are embedded in the centre of a blue crystal. An old ink bottle holds a single purple blossom.
